The great flavour of the vanilla beans we export proves our commitment to sustainable agriculture practices.

These bulk Grade B vanilla beans are hand-harvested and sun-dried in the traditional Sri Lankan style. The key differences between Grade A and Grade B vanilla beans are pod size and moisture content. Grade B vanilla beans, with a moisture content of 20–25%, average 200–250 beans per kilogram.

Our Grade-B vanilla beans, though smaller and drier than Grade-A beans, are packed with intense vanilla flavor. These beans are perfect for making vanilla extract or adding depth to recipes where texture is less important but flavor is key. They have a slightly lower moisture content, making them ideal for longer infusions and extraction processes.

Versatile Uses for Grade-B Vanilla Beans
These smaller Grade-B beans are versatile and ideal for various applications, including:

  • Vanilla Extract: Perfect for making strong, homemade vanilla extract with a deeper, richer flavor
  • Baking: Ideal for recipes where beans will be blended, such as cakes, cookies, and pastries
  • Cooking: Great for slow-cooked dishes, sauces, or beverages like vanilla-infused liqueurs or syrups
  • Brewing and Infusions: Excellent for use in brewing teas, coffees, or even beer for added flavor complexity

Bold Aroma and Rich Flavor
Our Grade-B beans offer a bold and earthy aroma, with strong notes of cocoa, spice, and resin. These beans provide a slightly more concentrated flavor compared to Grade A, making them perfect for use in recipes that require longer cooking or extraction times.
